Her leadership centers cultural responsiveness, disability access, and neurodivergent-affirming design so clients can engage in therapy with clarity, consent, and dignity. Dee Ann’s advocacy includes addressing harm from religious, racial, and childhood trauma and expanding pathways to affordable care through sliding scale options and community partnerships.

With a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz and deep experience in organizational structure and project management, Dee Ann combines operational excellence with heart. Before joining AMR Therapy, she worked on solutions to Los Angeles’ affordable housing crisis, strengthening her commitment to equity and community empowerment. At AMR, she builds streamlined, client-first processes, supports clinician onboarding and quality standards, and upholds HIPAA compliance and ethical, transparent communication. Her guidance helps AMR deliver queer-affirming, sex-positive, and culturally responsive telehealth across California. Dee Ann’s leadership embodies empathy, practicality, and a clear vision for inclusive mental health care that removes barriers and improves outcomes for the communities AMR serves.

Administrative Assistant

Heather (she/her) is a compassionate administrative assistant and client care coordinator dedicated to supporting clients and clinicians at AMR Therapy. With a background as a licensed funeral director and a degree in Funeral Services Administration, she brings a deep understanding of grief, loss, and resilience to every interaction. Heather ensures smooth operations across scheduling, intake, and telehealth support so therapists can focus on care. She centers accessibility, clear communication, and trauma-informed, queer-affirming service, helping clients feel welcomed and supported from first contact to ongoing care.

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Heather joined AMR Therapy in 2023, drawn to its mission of inclusive, affordable mental health care. She is known for her warm presence, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail in HIPAA-compliant processes, insurance documentation, and crisis-sensitive coordination. Her organizational strengths and empathy create a seamless client experience, with special attention to disability access and neurodivergent-friendly communication. Outside of work, Heather loves travel and learning about diverse cultures, values that inform her culturally responsive approach. Her commitment to self-care, advocacy, and client-centered service makes her an essential part of AMR’s mission to deliver accessible, high-quality mental health support.
